SOUTH OKANAGAN WOMEN'S SOCCER LEAGUE
HISTORY
South Okanagan Women's Soccer League (SOWSL) has been running as a league since 2003. The league began with a group of women from Penticton who were traveling the Okanagan and competing in an Okanagan-wide women's league. From there, four teams were defined into a league in Penticton, known as the South Okanagan Women's Soccer League. The league continues to grow and includes players from Osoyoos to Summerland. The long term sights of the executive were to have a league that included games in Summerland, and Oliver to really expand and include the entire South Okanagan. In 2018 we introduced an over 35 division to accommodate our growth.
